Bye Bye Toronto

Bittersweets feelings when leaving time arrives.

It’s time to leave not this nice place, but this experience, and there’s no experience without people. So, this a goodbye to the amazing people I have met here. Most people already left, and there are few who stay.

First of all, I have to thank the awesome teachers that I had have. Matt (And his funny yellow card that I’ve seen more than once), Marina (And her sarcastic comments that made me laugh all the time in class), and Peter (With his conversation-history and culture of Canada-Idioms-Arts-Hockey and Baseball classes. Visit his webpage Cottonbombs!!!). I went through a very good time because of this amazing teachers.

And second, the people. The Spanish Mafia (Remember the rule guys who stays for more time in the residence, ONLY ENGLISH except for the spanish people hahaha), Marijose (I haven’t words to express, so we have to have another trip together!), Lucia (My little flutedog!), Antonio (Substitute Mom), Trivi (Too bad not to had have more time together, i’ll wait for you in the Independance), David (It’s not bad, it’s good), Cristopher (Hope you finally eat properly!), Miguel (Dubstep party time!), Mónica (Your scarf smells brazilian?), Natalia (Is she Russian? Is she Spanish? Is Natalia!), Natalia (Night Suit Party!), Neus & Aniol (The roof, the roof, the roof is on… water!), Laura (I’ll eat a lot of cocidos for you! :P), José (Is there wifi here?), Adrian (AdriÁn), Gisela & Stephy (The snow is waiting for you to come back!), and I’m sure I’m forgetting somebody… Of course, there’s space here for the residence and the school folks, not only for spanish! But I’m afraid I don’t have time to give a few words for all of you… Mika, Keiko, Katzumi (My Japanese girls… we have to meet in the future… Spain, Japan or somewhere else…), Atzumi, Motohiro, Stacey, Jeremy, Altine (Oh my friend, wish you the best luck), Laura (Enjoy this time… and tell me the gossip of the residence hehe, very noce to meet you…), Lucas, Yuta, Emiliano, Orkum, Mami, Nezham, Paola, Gizem, EunSook, Abdullah, Hassan, Anna, Leoni, Isaac, Bruna, Julia, Andres… and I’m forgetting a lot of people for sure.

Thank you all for this great time I went through in this marvellous place with you. Thank you for made me laugh, for the conversations, for the tourism, for the food, for the drinks… I’m going to miss you a lot (I hope that now some of you are criying :P), and if you come to Madrid in some moment, tell me and I can guide you, and of course, party!

And for finish this, I left you with a spanish song “A long, long travel” by Fernando Alfaro, and the translated lyrics… I hope you like it!!!

I’ll be born,
I’ll grow up,
I’ll travel,
I’ll learn,
I’ll suffer,
I’ll love
and I will not die.

I’ll be born (I’ll be born)
I’ll grow up (I’ll grow up)
I’ll travel (I’ll travel)
I’ll learn (I’ll learn)
I’ll suffer (I’ll suffer)
I’ll love (I’ll love)
and I will not die (will not die)
will not die (will not die),
will not die (will not die).

I met her devil,
he always apeared
when she didn’t take
her medication (medication)

You know what I’m talking about
if you explore the interior
or if you search over the world
redemption (medication).

Is the world moving
or is the room?

I arrived this night from my long travel (long)
that if I was carelessess I can’t go back (fuck)
I almost went crazy in my long travel (long)
I almost saw me lost and I can’t go back (fuck)

A long travel
that I had run away when I returned.
A long travel
that when I came back I was not there.

I’ll be born,
I’ll grow up,
I’ll travel,
I’ll learn,
I’ll suffer,
I’ll love
and I will not die.

I’ll be born (I’ll be born)
I’ll grow up (I’ll grow up)
I’ll travel (I’ll travel)
I’ll learn (I’ll learn)
I’ll suffer (I’ll suffer)
I’ll love (I’ll love)
and I will not die (will not die)
will not die (will not die),
will not die (will not die).

And I look out the window
with the strange feeling
that the morning
rotates around me.

Is the world moving
or is the room?
